“Promoting the Circular Economy in Agriculture”
On July 16 in Hanoi, the Agricultural Forum 2025, organized by Business Forum Magazine, brought together experts, policymakers, and enterprises to discuss the future of Vietnam’s agriculture within the circular economy model.
According to Mr. Hoàng Quang Phòng – Vice President of VCCI:
“The circular economy is not just a trend but a necessity for Vietnam’s agriculture to grow green, clean, and sustainable — reducing costs, increasing value, and protecting the environment.”
Current major challenges include:
- Difficulty accessing land
- Limited capital and inflexible credit policies
- Small-scale production and lack of technology
- Consumer hesitation toward organic products
The forum was not only a platform for technical discussion but also a catalyst for transforming mindsets, paving the way for a modern, competitive, and environmentally friendly agricultural sector.
